Pete Dye has perfected the art of
golf course design and we are exceptionally lucky to have, at
the center of the Hampton Hall community, an exquisite and
unparalleled example of his work.
Dye has designed the course at Hampton Hall to accentuate the
natural beauty of the Lowcountry and to offer challenging and
enjoyable play for the accomplished player and novice alike.
And, with a limited number of golf memberships, the golf
experience promises to be completely satisfying - golf the way
it was meant to be, here at Hampton Hall. |

The private golf course at Hampton Hall will open to just 438
members. It opened for play in March of 2004 and promises to
be one of Pete Dye's finest accomplishments.
The course plays from
5,329 yards to 7,489 yards, depending on which of the five
sets
of tees are played. A gratifying experience for golfers of all
levels is ensured with wide fairways and landing areas,
unobstructed green approaches, and a safe route on every hole.
For those who seek a challenge, the safe route can be traded
for a variety of risk-reward shot making opportunities.

Hampton Hall is going to create a clubhouse that is totally
unique in the Hilton Head area. Everyone has a golf course,
an exercise facility, or other forms of recreational
activities.
70% of people who live in golf club communities do not play
golf. Those 70%'s needs have never been addressed up until
this time.
In the Hampton Hall community, the golfers have their
clubhouse, the workout community has their clubhouse, and now,
by creating this 20,000 square foot Clubhouse, everyone will
have a place to mingle, gather to eat, have parties, play
pool, and various clubs will be able to meet and socialize.
Imagine friends and family visiting and being able to enjoy a
meal together, or gathering around the outdoor fire pit on a
cool fall evening with drinks and lively conversation.
This terrific new Clubhouse will include a billiard and card
room, conference rooms, private dining room and restaurant,
2,500 square foot screened in porch for outdoor dining, bar
area, ballroom, and private meeting rooms for community clubs. |
